How a replacement goes
First the opening gets measured properly. Width, height, headroom above the opening and the side room on each side all decide what will fit and what hardware it needs. Guessing at this stage is how doors end up rubbing or not sealing.
You pick a style. Every photo in our catalog is a door we actually installed, so you are looking at real jobs rather than renderings. Modern glass, flush black, long panel, raised panel and carriage house all look different on different houses, and Avi will tell you what tends to work on yours.
On the day, the old door and its hardware come out, the new door goes in section by section, and the springs are sized and wound for the new weight. The opener is set up to the new door, the travel limits are adjusted, and everything is run several times before he leaves. The old door leaves with him.
